Critical Parts & Equipment

Opening catalogue000

Capabilities

Finding it is the easy half.

Anyone can search a part number. The work is proving the item fits your machine, that the metal is what the certificate says, and that it clears customs before your outage window closes.

Enquiry to installation

Six steps, and you are only responsible for the first.

This is the sequence every order runs through, whether it is a gasket for a sterilizer or a runner ring for a 340 megawatt Francis set. Each step has a named owner and a stated clock.

Step 01

Tag

Mark the items you need in the catalogue and send the enquiry. Serial numbers help. Photographs of the rating plate help more.

Step 02

Verify

A sector engineer checks fitment against your machine, not the model family. Where the drawing and the reality disagree, we ask before we quote.

Step 03

Quote

You get a price with the origin, certification level, warranty and true lead time written on it. No exclusions buried in a footnote.

Step 04

Source

Release from bonded stock, pull through an OEM channel, or manufacture to drawing. We tell you which of the three it is.

Step 05

Certify

Material certs, dimensional reports, NDT results and conformity documents are compiled and issued before the crate is sealed.

Step 06

Deliver

Customs cleared, tracked to the gate, and installed by our engineer if you want us standing there when it turns.

Laser cutting head profiling a steel plate01 · Reverse engineering

Capability

Send the broken one. Get a better one back.

We scan the failed part on a blue light system, model it, and verify the metallurgy in an accredited lab before anybody cuts metal. Where the original design was the reason it failed, we say so and propose the change rather than reproducing the fault.

  • Scan Structured light to 12 micron, CT scanning for internal geometry
  • Test Spectrographic analysis, hardness mapping, metallographic sectioning
  • Make Pattern making, investment and sand casting, 5 axis machining
  • Keep Patterns and models stay on file, so the repeat order is faster and cheaper
Machined steel components arranged for inspection02 · Certification & quality

Capability

Documentation your auditor never has to chase.

Every shipment leaves with a document pack assembled before the crate is sealed. We work to ISO 9001 across the business, ISO 13485 for medical, and EN 1090 EXC3 for load bearing fabrication. Third party witness inspection is available on any order.

  • Std Certificate of conformity and EN 10204 3.1 with heat numbers
  • Plus 3.2 third party certification, PMI, NDT and proof load reports
  • Med Full device file under EU MDR 2017/745, UDI where applicable
  • Lift FEM classification records and load test certificates on lifting items
Container vessel loading at a deep water terminal03 · Freight & customs

Capability

Cleared, tracked, and at the gate.

Six bonded locations, six forwarding partners and our own customs brokerage. Out of gauge and heavy lift moves are planned in house, including route surveys for anything that will not fit a standard flatbed. Dangerous goods and temperature controlled shipments are handled under our own certifications.

  • Air Same day airside on held stock, charter available on breakdown
  • Sea Consolidated weekly out of Rotterdam, Houston and Singapore
  • Road Out of gauge planning, escorts and route surveys
  • Docs In house brokerage, preference certificates, dual use screening
Racking aisle inside a bonded parts warehouse04 · Obsolescence management

Capability

The call should come from us, not from you.

We digitise your bill of materials, map every line against current availability, and flag the single points of failure before they become an outage. Clients on a Continuity agreement get an annual criticality audit and a costed holding strategy against the parts that would hurt most.

  • Map BOM digitisation, asset register reconciliation, drawing capture
  • Rank Criticality scoring by downtime cost and replacement lead time
  • Hold Forward stock at your site or ours, consignment terms available
  • Warn Quarterly obsolescence review with named engineer sign off
