If the answer you need is not here, the duty desk will give you a straight one. We would rather lose a job than win it on a lead time we cannot hold.
Constantly. It is most of what we do. We start with the OEM channel, move to authorised surplus and decommissioned plant, and if neither works we manufacture from drawing or from the failed part. Patterns and tooling we create stay on file, so a repeat order in five years is quick and cheaper.
As standard: certificate of conformity, EN 10204 3.1 material certification with heat numbers, and a dimensional inspection report on machined items. On request we add 3.2 third party certification, NDT reports, PMI results, balance certificates and full traceability back to the melt. Lifting items carry proof load certificates. Medical items ship with the device file required under the EU MDR.
The duty desk answers 24 hours a day. If the item sits in one of our six bonded locations we can usually have it airside the same day and at your gate within 24 to 48 hours depending on customs. If it has to be made, you will have a realistic date within four hours rather than an optimistic one within one.
Yes. Send the part and we will scan it, model it and lab test the material. A photograph of the rating plate plus a few measurements is often enough for us to identify a standard component outright. For anything structural, lifting or pressure bearing we will always want the physical item or the original drawing before we cut metal.
Every load bearing item ships with a proof load certificate, the material file and, where the component is classified, the FEM duty group it was built to. Fabricated structural items are made under EN 1090 EXC3 with weld procedure records and NDT. We will not supply a lifting component without that pack, even if you tell us you do not need it.
Nothing. An enquiry gets you a priced, dated, certified quotation and a conversation with an engineer. There is no obligation and no automated follow up sequence. If we are not the right supplier for the job we will usually tell you who is.
